Apple unveiled its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three refreshed versions of existing models as well as the all-new iPhone Air, which is replacing the iPhone Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day isn’t really your style, and you still want to get your hands on one at the earliest opportunity, you'll be able to place a pre-order for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, before the September 19th release date.The iPhone 17 features a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after years of waiting (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally gets a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, Apple’s new A19 chip is more powerful and more efficient, particularly when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will notice a huge jump in speed and better gaming performance thanks to ProMotion.
Camera wise, you will find a 48MP Fusion main get redirected here camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and also a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also features an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and more detailed.

The iPhone 17 will come in a range of colours including black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.
The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in blue, orange and silver.
